For the Burger Bowl (Serves 2–3)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
- 2 medium sweet potatoes or regular potatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of syrup
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1. Get Those Potatoes Roasting!
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss diced sweet potatoes (or regular potatoes) with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic powder. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
2. Brown That Burger!
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until fully browned and no pink remains, then drain excess grease.
3. Whip Up the Secret Sauce!
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl until smooth and creamy. Give it a taste and adjust to your liking.
4. Build Your 420 Bowl!
Fill a big bowl with chopped lettuce. Pile on the seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar, diced pickles, and crispy roasted potatoes.
5. Get Saucy!
Drizzle generously with your homemade Big Mac-style sauce. Toss everything together or leave it loaded and layered. Grab a fork and enjoy!
Want to take it over the top? Add a little extra cheese while the beef is still hot so it gets perfectly melty. And don't skimp on that sauce! Sweet potatoes add an awesome sweet-and-savory twist, but crispy regular potatoes make this taste like a cheeseburger and fries had a baby. 😎
